Have you ever walked into an empty room and felt like something was missing? The walls are there, the light comes in, and there is plenty of space, yet it still doesn’t quite feel like home. It made us think about furniture in a different way not simply as something that fills a room, but as something that becomes part of our everyday lives. A table where conversations begin, a chair where we pause and unwind, a cabinet that holds the things we keep close. Every piece has a purpose, but over time, it can become part of our story. That simple idea is where Améshanliving began: creating pieces that don’t just belong in a room, but grow with the people and moments that make it home.

As the way we live continues to change, so do the ways we experience furniture. Different spaces call for different characters, and every person has their own way of living.
For us, this means looking beyond a piece simply for its appearance.
We carefully consider the material, its character, the way it was made, and the details that make it different. We work with pieces that allow the material to speak for itself from natural textures and aged surfaces to distinctive forms shaped by traditional craftsmanship and time.
Some pieces may feel refined and contemporary. Others may carry a more rustic character, showing the marks, textures, and irregularities that make natural materials unique.
Rather than trying to make every piece look the same, we select pieces for what makes them worth noticing.
This is how we translate our belief into what we offer: by bringing together furniture with character, made to meet different ways of living without losing the story within the material.

As the world moves forward, design will continue to change. People may come to prefer cleaner forms, simpler spaces, and more contemporary ways of living.
But we believe that moving forward does not mean leaving the past behind.
There is beauty in the marks that time leaves behind a piece of wood shaped by weather, darkened by years of warmth near a traditional cooking fire, or a rustic surface carrying traces of nature. These details were not always designed. Some simply happened.And perhaps that is what makes them special.
We believe that not everything beautiful needs to be perfect, polished, or intentionally created. Sometimes, beauty exists in the unexpected: in the irregular grain, the worn surface, the natural erosion, or the form that could never be recreated exactly the same way twice.
To us, these are not imperfections to erase. They are part of the story.Because not everything beautiful is designed. Some things are simply discovered.
